Sydney Crum is the Program Coordinator in UPMC’s Center for Sustainability. She works on data collection and tracking sustainability initiatives at UPMC. She also works closely with Dr. Isabela Angelelli on increasing employee engagement regarding sustainability.
Sydney earned a B.A. with a double major of Environmental Studies and American Studies and a Sustainability minor from The George Washington University. While at GWU, Sydney worked within the community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega to promote sustainability and provide educational presentations on campus. Prior to working at UPMC, she worked at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens for a year learning about native plants and sustainable growing practices. She is passionate about approaching sustainability with a balanced approach that takes into account people, profit, and planet.
